The rod on the top is rectangular, in a nice unfinished pine. You can leave it natural or stain it if you so choose. There are 2 metal round eyelets attached to the rod at the top. Simply hang these over top of your nails, or suspend the curtain from c-shaped hooks! It just takes a few minutes to take this out and hang it up! It's so simple!
