The little transformer box has a button to push and choose the following light style options:

1) Combo 2) In Waves 3) Sequential 4) Slow Glow 5) Chasing/Flash 6) Slow Fade 7) Twinkle/Flash 8) Steady On

If one of the Cool-Burning (not hot to the touch!) bulbs go out, the rest will still light.

There are 9 strands of lights per curtain, with a total of 198 Cool-White LED lights. Plug into any outlet. There is a male end on one side of this light strand so that you may connect more strands. Wire is silver. 22" lead wire from the controller to the plug.
