Beaded Curtain
By Lorraine from Pittsburgh, PA on May 3, 2012
This curtain is working great for us. It's hardy and takes a lot of punishment of 4 dogs walking through them 100s of times a day.
Pros:
Hardy, attractive
Cons:
So far no dislikes

this is an appropriate name
By Ellen from Florida on April 26, 2012
I am using this curtain to cover a linen closet in the hallway. It is attractive and easy to attach. Putting wicker baskets behind the curtain to contain the small items makes it very decorative.
Pros:
ease of use; decorative
Cons:
beads are too far apart

High Quality
By Ana Banana from Medford, OR on March 12, 2012
These are very nice looking. You'd think that peach pits might poke you on the way through these curtains but they are smooth and glazed so they are as nice as the beads and give it a unique look. The piece of wood they are hanging from is sturdy and black which seems odd for this but didn't matter for us. The curtain hangs about six inches shy of the bottom because we hung it right at the top of the door. That's not a problem for us since we put the curtain up to keep the dogs out of the room and figure maybe the idea is to keep your feet from getting tangled in it on the way through. No problems with tangles as you pass through them. We highly recommend these.
Pros:
You can see into the room because the bead strands have space between them.
Cons:
If anything, mayb e the black piece of wood they hang from.

Nostalgic western-style beads
By Linda from Seal Beach, Ca. on February 20, 2012
Love the new beads we purchased. They add a nostalgic feeling to the house and go well with the western theme.
Pros:
Love rthe coloring and the design.
Cons:
wish they were maybe a little more dense, and not quite so far apart.

Swirly Pits - from 2 to 3
By Russ from Sioux Falls, SD on January 19, 2012
I simply love what "swirly pits" have done to my small bungalow. It's a 400 sq one-bedroom place with few internal doors. I have furnished and decorated the bungalow with an southeast asian theme. I bought 2 door beads, for the couple of doorless doorways in my living room. Immediately perfect! I'm in the process of buying a 3rd one for the open doorway into the kitchen.
Pros:
appearance; colors; character of the peach pits; ease of installation; cost effectiveness; and ease of use (in/out, they don't get tangled)
Cons:
could have been 3-4 inches longer in one application. The other 2 installations are perfect.

swirly pits
By holly west from bend, oregon on January 18, 2012
my questions via e-mail were answered promptly with good advice for what i was looking for. These hang in a house in the tropics where I was concerned about erosion of metal wires. These are strung with fiber instead. The order came quickly and on time and I am very happy with my new door beads. Thanks again hope I can order something else fun someday.

Great Solution!
By Cyn from Washington, DC on January 7, 2012
A little more than half our basement is finished. However, the unfinished portions (furnace room and laundry/storage area) are not finished or insulated, and have solid doors. These solid doors presented two challenges: 1) carbon monoxide build up in the furnace room; and, 2) extreme cold in the unfinished part of the basement. Our first thought was to install louvered doors - and we found this to be cost prohibitive. Then, we remembered the beaded curtains from our college days. This Swirly Pits beaded curtain is just what we needed. We doubled up on the curtains for each door to better hide the unfinished basement rooms, and absolutely love the effect. The colors and design work beautifully with the mission-style furniture in the basement, and the air now circulates keeping the rooms warm while eliminating the danger of carbon monoxide build up, and the bead curtains were affordable. I cannot imagine a louvered door looking better. We would use this solution again in a heart beat!
Pros:
Decorator style at a great cost.
Easy to install.
Solved the problem.
Cons:
The curtain can be a challenge to get through with a load of laundry. However, we installed drapery tie-backs so we can pull the curtain back on laundry day. So this dislike is easily overcome.

I would recommend this item to a friend.
