Our Floating Pearls Centerpiece Set is an elegant way to dress up any tablescape while providing impressive and mesmerizing decor. When the clear gel beads are hydrated, they become transparent and suspend the acrylic pearls for a unique floating effect!
With your purchase you will receive:
- Clear Jelly Beads that will make a total of 16 cups when hydrated (One Gallon)
- 1 package of Hard Acrylic Floating Pearls in the Color of Your Choice. There are a total of 40 acrylic pearls: 4pcs at 1.25" or 30mm, 6pcs at .75" or 20mm and 30pcs at .5" or 14mm.
The clear jelly beads when hydrated will make a total of 16 cups, or 4 quarts, or 1 gallon, or 3.8 liters. This is enough jelly decor to completely fill a 16" x 4" cylinder vase all the way to the top with some left over. Likewise, 1 packet will completely fill two 8" x 4" vases all the way to the top with some left over. You can fill the vases about 1/2 way or 3/4 full, or use narrower vases in order to get more bang for the buck! The shorter the vase that you use, the closer together the pearls will look, depending on how many pearls you decide to add. You can move the hard pearls around by hand as you add them in layers into the vase and on top of the jelly decor to ensure that you like the placement. Be sure that your hands are CLEAN, or dirt from your hands will transfer to the water and will show in your clear vase .
These floating pearls are incredibly affordable when considering the sheer amount of elegance they create and the fact that they are reusable. The water pearls are non-toxic so if you wish, you can float live or artificial plants and flowers on top of the gel. Please follow the directions on the back of the package. These can be prepared several days in advance of your event. Allow between 6-8 hours to fully hydrate the clear jelly beads. If you want to reuse the water beads, completely dry them out, store in an air-tight container, then rehydrate when needed.
You will get TWO packets of Jelly Decor. The measurements above are for using BOTH packets of Jelly Decor at the same time. The measurements are 1/2 of those listed above if you only hydrate one packet.
