There are 10 standard bulbs that are clear, hard plastic, making this a strand that can be used virtually anywhere, especially since you don't need an outlet! We are finding that these strands have each have one or two lights that are a slightly different color. So you might have 8 lights Warm White and a couple that are Cool White Tone. Every customer reporting back says that this is not a problem - and the overall look of the bunch is still Warm White.
The wire is silver and the strand is 10' long. The bulbs are 4" long by 2 1/4" wide and resemble a standard light bulb. The easy to hide battery pack is 2 3/4" by 2" by 3/4" and requires 3 AA batteries (not included). This light strand only weighs 9 oz. - very easy to hang. If you're attaching to a metal door, window frame or the metal strips in a drop ceiling, our Metal Hanging Hooks are very handy.
