Another key feature is that it's height adjustable! Simply turn the wingnut and your Decor hanger goes from 42 1/2" tall up to 76" tall. That's over 6'! This measurement is the bottom of the outside curl, where your Decor actually hangs. The base is 13" by 13" and this item weighs 7 lbs. - sturdy and heavy duty, this shepherd's hook won't sink in soft soil or sand. The measurement from the pole to the middle of the hanging curl is 6 1/2" so if hanging a solid item like a candle lantern, you'd want to go no larger than 12" wide so the item hangs freely.

Simply screw the pole securely into the base. The screw has a protective tape on it that will peel off as you turn the pole.

Please be mindful that the higher you raise the pole, the less weight you'll want to hang on the hook. We hung our 3 lb. Avalon Chandelier with the hook at 74" high and the pole leaned slightly but the heavy base kept it stable. We also hung a 4 lb. Chelsea Chandelier that's 4' long and bumped the pole several times - no problem!
