We sell 2 feather types at this time:

Spads are less expensive and are from the WING portion of the Ostrich. Ours are prime quality ostrich spads. They can be a sparse toward the tip because they are immature. No two are exactly alike. They are still beautiful and delicious and you'll love them. Some will be completely full at the tip. If you need to, you can trim the feathers too! They are bleached for white (white spads are never pure white) or dyed for colors. Currently we carry a large variety of Spad colors. These work great to add to floral arrangements, for costumes, headpieces, and other projects.

Prime Femina Plumes are the largest and fluffiest feathers available and come from the tail of the Ostrich. They are bleached for white (white PLUMES take the bleach better than the Spads and will be whitest), or dyed for colors. Currently we carry White or Black Prime Femina Plumes. The Prime Femina Plume is the ultimate ostrich plume and is terrific for building huge wedding centerpieces. The featured centerpiece photo above is made using the Prime Femina Plume. You can also add Spads in between the Prime Femina Plume as a filler!
