The 4 mats are 20" square on a plastic grid and the smart look of boxwood leaves makes it a popular landscaping choice. The leaves are a mix of dark green and lighter green, just as new growth would appear on a live hedge. The height or thickness of the leaves is 2 1/2" - this wall is very full and provides excellent coverage. The sprigs of boxwood extend far over the edge of the mat, about 1" to 1 1/2", so there is no worry of a seam showing. This 20" square wall actually consists of 4, 10" square mats which are very securely attached to each other with sturdy plastic pegs and holes so you can quickly add on more mats or remove sections to change the configuration. This mat is completely flexible and will bend around square or round columns, around square corners and it's the perfect solution when dealing with curved walls!
