Sleek, timeless and sophisticated, our Cylinder Planter "The Modern" is a fashionable vessel for showcasing plants and florals at weddings and events, for store and restaurant accent pieces or for around the house, inside and out! This pure white planter stands 32 1/2" tall by 15 1/2" wide (at the widest part) and is super sturdy and durable. The outside has a "woven" textured finish and the large bowl measures 10 1/2" deep by 10" wide at the top and 8" at the bottom. There are drain holes at the bottom of the bowl and the underside of the planter has a removable plug. Although this planter is hard plastic, it resembles stone due to the matte finish.
Whether you choose real or artificial flowers and foliage, the clean appearance of "The Modern" elevates the overall look of any floral arrangement while serving as a posh accent piece. We love how Oversized Flower Heads sit grandly on top of this planter, while large topiary balls or pomander kissing flower balls make the perfect complement to create a stylish focal point. Another idea that yields spectacular results but needs a wee bit of effort (fitting a square peg into a round hole!): Some of our flowering trees are attached to a 7" square base plate and the bottom of the bowl is 8" round. Add a wooden block or several bricks to the bottom of the bowl to support and elevate the tree to the level where the base plate will fit. Then finish off with potting soil or decorative rocks.
