We regret that we've sold out of our lantern lights (item #710002) but if you have previously purchased that light, then this is the remote you need.  It is designed specifially for use with lantern light #710002. 

Never again rush around right before your event to turn on all of the lighting because you want to 1) save battery life and 2) make sure that the lights last through your event.

This awesome product makes it so you just jet around from lantern to lantern, point your remote at them, and turn the lights on and off with the touch of a button!

Uses one A23 12V Battery which is included.

For events, turning the light on ahead of time and using the remote to control the on/off functions is a convenient and useful tool since you'll manually shut off the lights at the end of your event. However, for occasional use of remote compatible lights, you'd want to manually switch the light off and on - when the battery-operated light is switched on and left on, using the remote to turn the light off does not prevent the battery from draining on the light. You must physically turn the light off so the battery doesn't drain.
