The beads are plastic and not very high quality, but were cute for our granddaughter's bedroom alcove entrance. You really need to provide an easier way to make these bead curtains to fit a doorway smaller than 36 inches. The video helped, but it was still a pain to have to cut the end off, pull the beads out, saw the top part shorter, and rearrange the beads, and then glue the end cap back on. It definitely takes two people, unlike the claims in the video. You should also include the hooks with the beads to hang them with. You really need to offer custom widths available at a cheap price. I'm sure you can do it much easier yourself at the factory then it was for my wife and I can manage at home.

I love these beads. Thought they may look and feel cheap but they don't. Very nice. Just trying to transform my daughters babyish bedroom into something a bit more fun and age appropriate. Accomplished!

This was a birthday gift for my 10-year old grand-daughter's bedroom, replacing her closet door with the beaded curtain. The beads catch the light and look great, but my husband and I almost divorced putting this thing up! The end caps were a nightmare to get off in order to shorten the width. It would make more sense if the end caps just popped on and off rather than glued, or if the curtain was shipped without the caps and the buyer could glue them on after cutting the curtain to size. I'll bet that most people have to shorten the header and this most frustrating task could be eliminated by sending the end caps separately! I'd give this product 5 stars except for this one irritating thing!

The item is what I expected - quick delivery - will be hanging in my grand daughters bedroom redo at Christmas so I can not say it hangs easily or anything of that nature but looks great k- may ;need another tho

Using in doorway since my bedroom is off the living room and I dislike keeping bedroom door closed. Doorway is 26.75" wide, so I had to cut the rod to fit. I followed the directions on the video. Took a while, as I had to cut each end because of placement of the hanging hooks. But, time well spent. Looks great!

I love the way these look hanging in my bedroom doorway! They still catch the light from the window and sparkle nicely. A fun way to enter the room!

Easy to hang over the doorway. About a foot and a half off the floor which keeps everyone from stepping on the beads and getting it the way of vacuum or broom. Beautiful addition to my daughters room and exactly what she had asked for

I bought two of these beaded curtains for my grand-daughter, 8 years old, for Christmas. She really liked them because they are pink. Haven't put them up yet but I know they will be great. I told her that I grew up in the hippie days and that they are hippie beads.
