REAL capiz shells are hand drilled, hand strung and hand hung from a wonderful silver frame. There are 3 concentric rings of shell strands and the frame diameters measure 6 1/2", 10" and 14". The longest length of the shell strands is 18" and there are approximately 48 strands of shells. The hanging chain is 10" long so the total hanging length is 28".
This is a great item to hang at events, or in your home! You can also use this to set on top of vases for use as a wonderful centerpiece! If you want to use this on a vase, look for vases that are up to 6" in diameter!
This is a chandelier decoration and does not come with a Light Cord Kit but it is designed to hold one. The center of the chandelier already has the hardware needed to hold the light kit in place or you can add our LED Saucers to the top to make it a battery operated lamp.

Verified BuyerThis item is somewhat fragile due to the shells. Therefore, everystrand comes individually bagged and wrapped. It takes a good deal of time to be able to unwrap them so just know that if you plan on immediately using. Also if you hang anywhere that there is wind they are quite loud so indoor usage would probably be best for these if you do mind the noise. They are beautiful and I do believe they are worth the price.

It was a good decision. It is very pretty. Was packaged very well, took some time to undue but it paid off nothing was broken. They even put in some extra shells incase of any damage. Everyone notices and compliments the Capiz Shell. I have it hanging over garden tub in the corner. The ceiling is a natural wood and a little low so this chandelier works well here and adds a little bling to the plain wood.

Verified BuyerPlanning a destination wedding and incorporating capiz shells into the decor so had to have at least one capiz chandelier but was a little worried I would not be able to find an affordable style that lived up to what I envisioned after searching online. Ordered several of them since the price was so awesome and the quality exceeded my expectations by far! So decided to order some more! Still waiting for those to ship since they ran out of stock but definitely worth the wait, especially since I won't be needing them till a year from now. Very beautiful and great quality. The jump rings connecting the shells is a better idea than twine or string in my opinion (at least for my purpose since they will be used outdoors) because it seems more resistant to tangling.
