They hold up fairly well, I have pets that traverse all day and every now and then they will catch the curtain beads leading to breakage. So, the one thing I would recommend is that the string that is used to thread the beads together be stronger! I'm sure that is not an outrageous request. I mead, how mush does stronger string cost!????

Looks nice, got this because it was higher up and the cat wouldn't play with it. So far he doesn't mess with it at all. Recommend you watch the videos on each beaded curtain they are helpful to know what you're getting.

Absolutely delightful well made curtain! The wooden header with eye hooks made it a 2 minute installation! Using it on my deck door wall. Even our greyhound thinks it’s cool and gently walks through. Great price for well made curtain!

I purchased 2 to go over my sliding door. When I unboxed them I was disappointed to see that one of the curtains I received had a knot on both ends of the wood so it was bowed on both ends. I understand it’s “hand-made” but how do they expect me to hang them when they’re bowed?? Isn’t that considered faulty wood? The 2nd one was straight and beautiful. I was very upset because it looked so bad. Especially since the other one was straight. The wood is very cheap and painted badly too. My husband decided to hang them up to see what it would look like, so because it wasn’t so noticeable over the sliding door, I kept them. It still bothers me when I look at them because I know it’s there. Otherwise I would’ve returned them both out of frustration.

This beaded curtain is not only beautiful but also functional. It is the perfect solution for keeping Harley, my green cheek conure from following me out of the bird room. I also have a canary that I allow to free fly around, and the beaded curtain allows me to have the door open for better air circulation without worrying about Ruby flying out into the rest of the house. I just love it, even though my daughter makes fun of me for regressing into the seventies, lol!

I wanted some type of barrier besides a door between our hallway going into the foyer and front door. I have a Princess of Wales Parakeet. Madoc is a fairly fast free-flyer and maneuvers all through our house with ease. Although he has never flown into the foyer there's always the fear of him following my out the door. I did a test with him before writing a review. After hanging the beads, I took him into the foyer and gave him the command to go to his cage but he flew toward the beads and back to my shoulder several times. Problem solved! These look awesome! They're so stylish and match our taste and decor. I will recommend your business to all my friends and social media bird groups too. It looks better than the video. Perfect size. The top was very slightly warped in a bow shape but is fine. I hung it up in seconds. Looks unique. Is strong and durable. I am loving it !!! Live the wood colors matches different pieces in the room. I didn’t need the longer curtain. The last one was slightly long and started to break when it caught in things This is a perfect length Glad I purchased

I actually bought three of the Augusta bead curtains. I have them side by side but, because of the repeat pattern, they appear to be just one very wide 'curtain'. The scalloped bottom edge accentuates the effect further. The workmanship (workwomanship?) is excellent, although, as far as durability goes, they have only me to contend with. Don't know how well they'd withstand pets and children. The same comment would apply to almost anything hanging in sight of potential predators of course! You can do other things with them too as when/if you become a bit bored with the effect. More so if you've got several of them. Like, tying the outside ones off to the adjacent walls or trim. Or tying them all off in separate bunches. Or, in my case, taking the middle one out altogether! The way they look in the web video is how they actually do appear. There are no unwelcome surprises. Well, unless you live north of the border and have to pay the shipping, the exchange rate, Canadian taxes and a $33 duty on top of it all. Final tally came to a little over $200 CAD. Still, I'd braced myself for that. I should also add that it has got to be the most frivolous thing I've ever purchased. And at the final price! The lingering guilt it inspires is hopefully something I'll learn to live with. I'm working on it.

When browsing through beaded curtains, this isn't one you would stop on because it's difficult to see any detail. However, I saw the video first and knew it was perfect for my dining area. However, in the video their 2 curtains match up, as do mine, but the shape of the beading is very different as are most of the beads, by shape and color in the middle of the diamond shapes. Also the bottom beads are different colors (as they are on the video) I know they aren't going to be exact, but when the lights are off all of this is very noticeable and it's quite a focal point in my house. I have multiple people ask me if I've noticed that. I would love to get another curtain and see it it matched one or the other of mine a little bit better, but I had to trim off a 1/4 inch on each curtain end to make them fit in my doorway, so doubt you'd let me return one. Anyway, I would recommend these for sure, but if you buy 2 make sure you are happy with the bead colors and match up :)

I love them! They are just like the pictures and video. I love that they are made of wood and the design is beautiful. I am using them at a stairway entrance to our dormer. It was better than just looking at a flight of stairs. Also reminds me of my "hippie days" :)

Curtain came quickly, and was easy to hang. A couple of the strands are irregular which ruins the pattern on the curtain a little bit but it's not the end of the world.

We love our wooden beaded curtains . We have a room that has a Native American deco and the beauty of the earth tone wooded beaded design just sets the stage as you enter the room . I did have concerns about our cat and large dog finding them intimidating or worse yet as a play toy but have been pleasantly surprised that they both have lost interest in them and go under and through them with no problem . We are a active family and go through our curtain repeatedly throughout the day and they are holding up very well , Everyone we have over can name a doorway or even a window that they would love to hang some beaded curtains in .I would encourage anyone to check out all of the types , materials ,and designs you provide and believe anyone can find SOMETHING they would enjoy displaying , utilizing , decorating there home , office or any other area that needs a little pizazz . .
